An African safari experience means little without that unbridled and raw connection to wildlife and wilderness – and that is exactly what we offer.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport under own arrangement.
Once you clear Customs & Immigration, you will be met by your driver, who will be waiting outside the arrival terminal building. You will be escorted to your waiting vehicle and driven to Arusha, arriving at Katambuga House for check-in. The drive usually takes about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic en route.
After checking in at Katambuga House, you can unwind by the pool before enjoying dinner and spending the night.
At sunrise you awake to the first glimpse of Africa, its sights, smells, sounds and the beautiful views of Mt. Meru. After breakfast, a short transfer will take you to Arusha Airport where you connect to your scheduled flight to Kogantede in the northern Serengeti.
On arrival you will be met by your safari guide in an open vehicle and be driven to Esirai Camp, taking in wildlife sightings en-route. The camp, set among acacia trees, overlooks the wide open savannah plains. Sundowners and a warm fire await you after your full day’s game drive.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served at sunrise, a healthy breakfast to follow before you head out on your morning game-drive when the temperature is cool and the day begins, its one of the best times to enjoy the wildlife as the animals are still very active.
The day will be spent exploring the northern parts of the Serengeti in search of the herds of the great migration and all the excitement that surrounds it with the great hope of witnessing a crossing over the Mara river!
Return to camp after an afternoon game drive, to a sundowner around the fire followed by a delicious dinner.
After an early morning wake up call, tea, coffee and breakfast you bid farewell to Esirai Camp and set out on a game drive to explore the Serengeti en route to Olmara Camp. Arrive at Olmara Tented Camp in time for a lunch.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to camp for a sundowner.
This area is a remote and wildlife-filled pocket lying at the crossroads of the endless grassy plains and the woodlands. Here, amongst the endless grassy savannah, dotted with gnarled acacia trees and weathered rocky outcrops, we find an unsurpassed display of predators and predator activity. Far from the busier central Serengeti, the area is unspoiled, silent, and remote.
Set out on a full day to explore this wonderful naturally inhabited eco system.
On the last day of your safari, you will enjoy a game drive en route to Seronera Airstrip, taking full advantage of your time left in the park. Fly from the Serengeti to Arusha Airport.
A transfer vehicle awaits you at Arusha Airport to take you for lunch at Katambuga House. After lunch you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect with your departure flight.
