Day 1: On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver once you have cleared Customs & Immigration and exit the main terminal building. You will be transferred by road to Katambuga House. The drive will take up to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
At Katambuga House, enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful gardens.
In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner at Katambuga House and prepare for your departure the following day.
Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to Olkeri Camp in the Randilen Wildlife Management Area. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, lions, and leopards. End the day with a sundowner and a bush dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Obtain a Maasai cultural experience, followed by an extended game drive in Tarangire National Park, where you can spot elephants, giraffes, and big cats. End the day relaxing at camp, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Day 4: Travel through the Great African Rift Valley to Lake Eyasi, arriving at Kisima Ngeda Camp for lunch and a swim. In the afternoon, journey to Ombako Fly Camp, where the Hadzabe tribe will introduce you to their hunter-gatherer traditions. Explore the wilderness, discover ancient rock art, and watch the sunset from a scenic vantage point before enjoying dinner by the campfire under the stars.
Day 5: Wake early to the aroma of coffee brewed over the fire and set out with your Hadzabe hosts for an immersive morning in their world. Join the women as they forage for roots, tubers, and berries, or follow the men as they track wildlife, moving swiftly through the bush with poison-tipped arrows at the ready. Witness their expert hunting techniques and, if successful, share in their harvest—tasting wild honey, fresh berries, or even small game.
After this unforgettable experience, bid farewell to your Hadza hosts and return to Kisima Ngeda Camp, with an optional stop to visit the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths known for their intricate metalwork. Spend the afternoon enjoying a leisurely lunch and relaxing at camp, or take a guided walk to explore the lush surroundings.
Day 6: After breakfast, take a road transfer to Lake Manyara Airport for a scheduled flight to Kogatende in the Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you to Esirai Camp (North) in an open game viewer.
After Lunch, you’ll set out on your first game drive, exploring the vast savannah teeming with wildlife, including buffalo, zebras, lions, and leopards. End the day with a sundowner in a scenic spot, followed by a bush dining experience under the stars.
Day 7: Guided walking safari in the Northern Serengeti, where you’ll track wildlife and learn about the ecosystem’s details, from animal tracks to local flora.
Go on a game drive focused on the Mara River, known for dramatic wildebeest migration crossings. While crossings are unpredictable, the area is rich with wildlife, including crocodiles, lions, and leopards.
End the 7th day with a sundowner in a scenic spot before returning to camp for a bush dinner under the stars.
Day 8: After breakfast at Esirai Camp, embark on a game drive from the Northern to the Eastern Serengeti, heading to Olmara Camp. Settle in, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in this rich wildlife area. Later, reach a remote Fly Camp for a night under the stars, with a bush dinner by the campfire and the sounds of the Serengeti to lull you to sleep.
Day 9: Wake up to a sunrise bush breakfast, then return to Olmara Camp for a shower before setting off on an extended game drive through the Eastern Serengeti. Spot lions, leopards, elephants, and, seasonally, the Great Migration. Visit the Gol Kopjes, known for cheetah sightings. End your day with a sundowner and a celebratory bush dinner.
Day 10: After a final morning game drive, bid farewell to the Serengeti as you transfer by road to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Katambuga House, where you can relax by the pool, enjoy a delicious lunch, and freshen up before your international flight.
Later, you will be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your departure, marking the end of an unforgettable Tanzanian safari.
