Night Game Drives

Day game drives offer the best way to see Africa’s big wildlife but as the sun sets, travelers usually return to the safety of camp. However, this is exactly when the bush nightlife gets active. It’s then, as darkness envelops the landscape, that predators and a host of nocturnal species get busy foraging, defending their territory, hunting and going about their lives.

An exciting night game drive gives the adventurer a rare glimpse into the comings and goings of these creatures that live by starlight.

Using red lights, we explore the parks, seeking elusive species such as aardwolves and aardvarks, spring hares, genets, mongooses and wide-eyed bush-babies. And of course, we keep our senses on alert for predators.
